Beacon Hill Post 16 team is based on a separate site from the main school, currently in Buxton Road, Grays. Students who are 14 and 15 from the main site join us for 2 days a week before moving here full time.
Everything we do here helps pupils to be ready for life beyond school. Each student follows their own timetable which they help to choose and design. The activities that we do are constantly changing as students develop new skills and interest.
Lots of our learning is based in the community and involves independent living skills, travel training, work, volunteering and recreational opportunities. Every Friday all students take part in transition links in our local community which allows them to experience opportunities that can continue beyond school.
